Wanda Brown, aged 40, was shot and killed on August 17, 2017, in Baltimore, Maryland. The incident occurred on the 1000 block of West North Avenue, a location that has seen its share of violent incidents in recent years. This tragic event added to the rising homicide rate in Baltimore for 2017, which was already a record year for violent crime in the city.
