Jose Asuncion Padilla, a 65-year-old restaurant owner, was tragically killed on June 16, 2014, in Lynwood, California. The incident occurred at Mariscos La Playita, a seafood restaurant he owned. Padilla had just arrived from his other restaurant in Compton to close up for the night when he was confronted by three armed men.
