Xzavier Johnson, a 26-year-old resident of Stockton, California, was fatally shot on July 5, 2014, in East Oakland. The incident occurred near the corner of High Street and Lyon Avenue, close to Brookdale Park, around 10:20 a.m. Johnson was found with multiple gunshot wounds near the corner of 27th Avenue and Foothill Boulevard shortly after the shooting and was pronounced dead at the scene.
