Gilbert Miranda, a 47-year-old Latino man, was tragically shot and killed on July 20, 2014, in Pomona, California. The incident occurred at the Pomona Auto Lodge, located in the 900 block of North Garey Avenue. According to the Los Angeles County coroner’s records, police received a call about shots fired shortly before 1 a.m. Upon arrival, they found Miranda on the ground with a gunshot wound to his chest.
