On Wednesday, August 30, 2017, he was shot and killed, leaving a void in the lives of those who knew and loved him. Remembered as an amazing young man with a smile that could illuminate any room, his personality was a source of light and warmth.
He was a family man who enjoyed spending his time surrounded by relatives and close friends.
His love for music was well-known, and he could often be found rapping in short videos he made with his friends. His death left behind two beautiful children to navigate the world without their father. He is also survived by his parents, Nefertari and Rodney Huey, four siblings, and a host of aunts, uncles, grandparents, and cousins who mourned his sudden and violent passing. There is no publicly available information regarding any arrests or suspects in connection with his death.
