Lafferal Alexander, a 59-year-old man from Pomona, California, was tragically shot and killed on August 1, 2014. The incident occurred around 11:45 p.m. while Alexander and his sister-in-law, Bennie Jean Porter, were sitting on the porch of a home located in the 1000 block of East Lexington Avenue. According to coroner’s records, a gunman or possibly multiple gunmen approached the front of the home and opened fire.
