Christian Henriquez, a 16-year-old Latino, was tragically shot and killed on January 30, 2015, near 11210 South Figueroa Street in the Vermont Vista neighborhood of Los Angeles. According to the Los Angeles County coroner’s records, the incident occurred shortly before 6 p.m. Christian was standing in the area with an 18-year-old man when a person, described by witnesses as a Latino male between the ages of 17 and 22, approached them and began a conversation.
