Marcos Perez, a 40-year-old Latino, was tragically shot and killed on June 21, 2015, in the Central-Alameda neighborhood of Los Angeles, California. According to the Los Angeles County coroner’s records, the incident occurred around 11:30 p.m. while Perez was standing on a sidewalk in the 4300 block of Lima Street.
