James Gregory Jackson, a 30-year-old man from Los Angeles, California, tragically lost his life on August 27, 2015. Jackson was shot while standing outside in the 3100 block of Canfield Avenue in the Palms neighborhood of West Los Angeles. The incident occurred around 8:30 p.m. on August 26, 2015, when the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) received a call reporting a shooting.
