Ricardo Macias Mendoza, a 46-year-old resident of Lomita, California, tragically lost his life on September 3, 2015. Mendoza was the owner of Guero’s Body Shop & Paint in Harbor City. On the evening of his death, Mendoza was closing his auto body shop when he was approached by an unknown assailant. The suspect, described as a Latino male between 25 and 35 years old, wearing dark clothing and a baseball cap, shot Mendoza in the head.
