Richard A. James, a 23-year-old man, tragically lost his life on October 14, 2015, in West Hollywood, California. According to the Los Angeles County coroner’s records, James was shot while standing with a group of people on the patio outside the Comedy Store, located on the 8400 block of Sunset Boulevard. The incident occurred early in the morning, and James was struck at least once in the upper torso. Despite being rushed to a local hospital, he was pronounced dead at 1:36 a.m.
