Edgar Navarro, a 28-year-old resident of Salinas, California, was tragically killed on the night of February 3, 2016. The incident occurred around 10 p.m. in front of the Wash N’ Dry Laundromat located at 341 Williams Road. Navarro was approached by a suspect who walked up from Grandhaven Street and, without uttering a word, opened fire. Navarro was struck multiple times and succumbed to his injuries at the scene. This marked the third homicide in Salinas for the year 2016.
