A woman goes missing on a trip from PA to ME; her decomposing body is found 2 years later
Ellen Choate, a 23-year-old Montessori teacher from Pennsylvania, disappeared on June 1, 1975, while traveling from Philadelphia to Bangor, Maine, where she had secured a new job. After a train ride to Boston, she planned to hitchhike the rest of the way. However, she never arrived in Bangor, and her absence was reported when she failed to show up for work on June 2.
