Hector Hugo Velasquez, a 44-year-old Latino man, was tragically killed on May 13, 2016, in Paramount, California. Velasquez was standing on the south side of Ackley Street, near the curb, when a black vehicle approached. The car stopped, and someone inside fired multiple shots at Velasquez before driving away.
