A man is found murdered just a few miles from his home
Kenneth Kramer, a 28-year-old merchant marine, was found murdered on February 28, 1983, in Cherryfield, Maine. The night before, Kramer had left his home with an unknown person or group of people, seemingly without any signs of struggle, suggesting that he knew his assailants. His body was discovered the next morning by a passing motorist on Route 182, only a few miles from his residence. He had been shot multiple times with a shotgun.
