Irby Ford, a 54-year-old resident of Compton, California, was tragically shot while sitting on his front porch on June 11, 2016. The incident occurred around 7:50 p.m. in the 1500 block of South Bentley Avenue. Ford was shot multiple times and was immediately taken to a nearby hospital. Despite the medical efforts, he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead two days later, on June 13, 2016.
