Tyre Towns, a 16-year-old from Compton, California, tragically lost his life on March 20, 2022. The incident occurred in the 1400 block of South Temple Avenue, where Tyre was fatally shot. According to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner's records, Tyre was pronounced dead at the scene. The shooting was reported around 1:40 p.m., and witnesses mentioned seeing a dark-colored sedan leaving the area northbound on Temple Avenue shortly after the incident.
