Deonte Whiteside, a 17-year-old from Sacramento, California, was tragically shot and killed on June 23, 2016. The incident occurred outside his home in Elk Grove, a suburb of Sacramento. Whiteside was lured out of his house by Danqwail Jones, who used a girl's Snapchat account to deceive him into thinking he was meeting up with her.
