In the summer of 1992, the small town of Fryeburg, Maine, was unsettled by the discovery of the body of 39-year-old David Mair, a local man. His absence had begun to cause concern when he failed to show up for his job at Veno Electric in nearby Conway, New Hampshire, on Friday, July 10, 1992, an act that was out of character for him.
