Uziel Sandoval, a 22-year-old Latino, was tragically shot and killed on November 23, 2016, near Whittier Boulevard and South Alma Avenue in East Los Angeles. According to the Los Angeles County coroner’s records, Sandoval, who resided in Huntington Park, was in his pickup truck around 6:07 p.m. when he got into an argument with three or four Latino adults standing at the intersection.
