Cruz Abel, a 19-year-old resident of West Sacramento, California, tragically lost his life on April 29, 2017, in a drive-by shooting. The incident occurred early in the morning on Merkley Avenue. According to witnesses, Abel was walking westbound when a car pulled up beside him and fired multiple shots. The car then made a U-turn and fired additional shots before fleeing the scene.
