Valerie Enriquez, a 27-year-old resident of Pomona, California, tragically lost her life on May 2, 2017. She was found shot to death behind Perez Market, located at the corner of Ridgeway Street and Barjud Avenue. The incident occurred just before 11 p.m. when police responded to a 'shots fired' call. Upon arrival, officers discovered Valerie Enriquez and her friend, 37-year-old Hugo Reynoso, both suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. They were pronounced dead at the scene.
