Terelle Swearengin, a 25-year-old resident of Sacramento, California, tragically lost his life on June 12, 2017, in Modesto. On that fateful day, Modesto police responded to a shooting incident at around 4:30 p.m. on Sutter Avenue. Upon arrival, they found Swearengin suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite being rushed to the hospital, he succumbed to his injuries. Another victim, a 22-year-old man from Modesto, was also injured in the shooting but survived after receiving medical treatment.
