Robert Carlos Urbina, a 38-year-old Latino, was tragically shot and killed on August 7, 2017, in downtown Los Angeles. The incident occurred in the 2000 block of East 8th Street. According to the Los Angeles County coroner’s records, officers responded to the scene shortly before 8 p.m. and found Urbina wounded by gunfire.
