On August 23, 2017, a tragic incident occurred in Bloomington, California, resulting in the deaths of Priscilla Gonzalez, age 8, her younger sister Beatrice Gonzalez, age 6, and their mother, Karina Gonzalez, age 35. The incident was initially reported as a house fire in the 17900 block of Santa Ana Avenue. When firefighters arrived at the scene, they found Karina Gonzalez alive but severely injured.
