and Alfie Broussard at a Chevron gas station for the deal. During the transaction, a dispute arose, leading to a commotion and ultimately, Armani being shot in the upper back. He was unarmed at the time of the shooting.
The investigation into Armani's death was thorough and involved multiple law enforcement agencies, including the U.S. Marshals Service, the federal Drug Enforcement Administration, the Solano County Sheriff's Office, and the Solano County District Attorney's Office. The suspects, Derrick Dogan Jr. and Alfie Broussard, were apprehended months later through cell phone records and other investigative techniques. Both men were charged with crimes related to the incident. Derrick Dogan Jr. was found guilty of second-degree murder and using a gun in the commission of a crime, while Alfie Broussard was convicted of robbery.
