MacVell Holmes, a 26-year-old man from Paramount, California, was tragically killed on November 5, 2017. Holmes was shot while sitting in his car outside his apartment complex on Somerset Boulevard. The incident occurred around 1:40 p.m. when a man in a red Lexus approached Holmes and attempted to carjack his vehicle.
