Terrell Gardner, a 35-year-old resident of Oakland, California, was tragically shot and killed on November 22, 2017. The incident occurred around 3:16 a.m. on the 1800 block of East 12th Street, a predominantly commercial area near Interstate Highway 880. Gardner was found lying on the sidewalk with a gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene. The fatal shooting took place the day before Thanksgiving, adding a somber note to the holiday for the local community.
