On February 13, 2018, Armando Garza, a 33-year-old resident of Kettleman City, California, was found dead in his vehicle. The incident occurred around 6:45 a.m. when Kings County Sheriff's deputies, along with officers from the California Highway Patrol and Avenal Police Department, responded to a report of a gunshot wound victim on the 200 block of Maud Street.
