She was the executive director of The Pathway Home, a residential program dedicated to helping post-9/11 veterans transition into higher education. On that fateful day, Christine, along with two of her colleagues, Jennifer Golick and Jennifer Gonzales, was taken hostage by Albert Wong, a former patient of The Pathway Home.
