On April 12, 2018, Richard Thayer II, aged 60, was found dead in his home in Pine Grove, California, in what authorities have described as a double murder-suicide. The tragic incident also claimed the lives of 26-year-old Jacob Jedidiah Thayer and 27-year-old Marie Ann Leonetti.
