On the evening of February 12, 2011, Calvin Ervin, a 46-year-old African American male, was fatally shot in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The incident occurred around 8:30 p.m. in front of the Pine Crest Apartments located at 4161 Mohican-Prescott Crossover. Calvin Ervin, residing at 4150 Mohican-Prescott Crossover, and another victim, Brandon Watson, a 30-year-old African American male from 4201 Mohican-Prescott Crossover, were found deceased in a grassy area near the apartment complex.
