Gustavo Castro Jr., a 35-year-old resident of Wilmington, California, was tragically shot to death on November 2, 2018, near an auto body shop in an unincorporated area close to Gardena. The incident occurred on the sidewalk in the 400 block of West Redondo Beach Boulevard, east of the 110 Freeway. Paramedics pronounced Castro dead at the scene around 6:40 p.m. on that fateful Friday evening.
