On December 16, 2018, Rofiah Zen, a 31-year-old woman from Sacramento, was found dead in Elk Grove, California. The incident occurred late Saturday night, early Sunday morning, when officers were dispatched to Elk Grove Boulevard, just east of Interstate 5, regarding a vehicle parked on the shoulder of the eastbound roadway.
