Kioka Shay Colbert, a 26-year-old woman, was tragically shot and killed on December 28, 2018, in the Florence-Firestone area of Los Angeles. The incident occurred around 10:30 p.m. on the 1100 block of East 89th Street. Colbert was standing outside a car, conversing with two individuals seated inside, when a man approached and inquired if she was affiliated with a gang.
