On February 16, 2019, Octavio Villa-Villanueva, a 33-year-old resident of Sparks, Nevada, was tragically killed in a shooting incident in Tahoe City, California. The incident occurred around 5 p.m. at the Boatworks Mall parking lot. Villa-Villanueva was sitting inside a car with another individual when shots were fired into the vehicle.
