On February 24, 2019, 15-year-old Advan Vang was tragically shot and killed in Stockton, California. Advan, along with his 14-year-old friend Nicholas Sihalath, was riding his bike in the 7000 block of Montauban Avenue when the incident occurred. The two friends were ambushed and shot multiple times just after midnight. Advan died at the scene, while Nicholas succumbed to his injuries later at a local hospital.
