Christian Guevara, a 21-year-old resident of Burbank, California, tragically lost his life on March 2, 2019. The incident occurred during the early morning hours at a house party on West Clark Avenue. According to reports, Guevara was attending the party, which had around 50 attendees throughout the night. At approximately 2:30 a.m., he was brought to Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center suffering from a gunshot wound.
Despite efforts to save him, Guevara succumbed to his injuries shortly after arriving at the hospital.
The Burbank Police Department launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding Guevara's death. Detectives identified two suspects in connection with the shooting. Robert Stout, a 19-year-old from Van Nuys, and Jose Valdivieso, also 19, from Northridge, were arrested on March 4, 2019. Both suspects were charged with murder and held on $2 million bail each. The investigation revealed that Stout had confessed to shooting Guevara, although the motive behind the shooting remained unclear. The gun believed to have been used in the crime was recovered by the authorities.
