Frank Noel Galvan, a 34-year-old Latino, was fatally shot on March 23, 2019, near the corner of 95th and Juniper Streets in the Florence-Firestone area of South Los Angeles. According to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner records, Galvan was walking in his neighborhood around 2:40 p.m. when he was shot. Deputies were called to the scene regarding a gunshot victim and found Galvan with a gunshot wound. He was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead at 4:12 p.m. The cause of ...
