Patricia Stewart, aged 75, and her husband Richard Stewart, aged 76, were longtime residents of Sonoma County, California. On March 28, 2019, they were found dead in their home in Petaluma. The couple's deaths were later determined to be the result of a murder-suicide. According to the Petaluma Police Department and the Sonoma County Sheriff-Coroner's Office, Richard Stewart shot his wife Patricia before turning the gun on himself.
