Death by Force

Harold Winters, a 23-year-old resident of New Orleans, was fatally shot on September 7, 2011, in the Leonidas neighborhood of the city. The incident took place in the 1900 block of Leonidas Street late in the evening. Responding to reports of gunfire at around 9:53 p.m., officers from the New Orleans Police Department (NOPD) found Winters with a fatal gunshot wound. Despite efforts by Emergency Medical Services, he was declared dead at the scene.
