Hakeem Ibrahim Funtua, a 34-year-old resident of Los Angeles, California, tragically lost his life on June 15, 2019. Born on June 15, 1985, Hakeem's life was cut short on his birthday when he was fatally shot in Downtown Los Angeles. According to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner's records, Hakeem was a black male who succumbed to gunshot wounds, marking a somber end to his life on what should have been a day of celebration.
