John Medrano, a 24-year-old resident of Azusa, California, tragically lost his life on July 14, 2019. Medrano was walking with a teenage boy near the intersection of South Azusa Avenue and Gladstone Street when a dark-colored sedan approached them. An unknown assailant inside the vehicle opened fire, striking Medrano multiple times. Despite being rushed to a nearby hospital, Medrano succumbed to his injuries later that night. The teenage boy accompanying him was unharmed in the incident.
