Patrick Leonard, aged 67, died on July 26, 2019, in Cotati, California. His death was the result of a shooting incident that marked the first homicide in Cotati in 24 years. Leonard was found in the garage of his residence on Robin Avenue after police responded to a call around 6:35 p.m. He was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
