Gilbert Michael Martinez Sr., a 65-year-old Latino male, tragically lost his life on August 5, 2019, in South El Monte, California. According to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner's records, Martinez was shot near the 1000 block of Durfee Avenue. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning, and despite efforts to save him, he succumbed to his injuries shortly after the shooting.
