Dominic Michael Blackwell, a 14-year-old student from Santa Clarita, California, tragically lost his life on November 14, 2019, in a shooting at Saugus High School. On that fateful morning, a fellow student, Nathaniel Tennosuke Berhow, 16, opened fire in the school's quad area, killing Dominic and another student, Gracie Anne Muehlberger, before turning the gun on himself. The entire incident lasted only 16 seconds, leaving the community in shock and mourning the loss of two young lives.
