Jules William Genis, aged 30, tragically lost his life on December 14, 2019, in Bakersfield, California. Jules and his twin brother, John Andrew Genis III, were both victims of a fatal shooting that occurred early in the morning around 5:08 a.m. on Butte Street. The brothers were found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds and were immediately transported to Kern Medical, where they were pronounced dead shortly after their arrival.
