Caira Rachel Christopher, a 15-year-old from Lemon Grove, California, tragically lost her life on April 15, 2020. She and her twin sister, Leah Sylvania Christopher, were fatally shot in their home by Dwayne Edward Groves Jr., the ex-boyfriend of their mother, Joann Hoyt. The incident occurred at their Central Avenue residence, where Groves also assaulted Hoyt's 22-year-old son with a firearm.
