Brian Messina, a 42-year-old resident of Anza, California, was found dead on November 29, 2020, in a remote area of Bautista Road. His death was the result of a brutal murder, which involved severe beating and a fatal gunshot wound. The investigation revealed that Messina was targeted by three individuals who suspected him of gathering evidence against them related to a series of armed thefts at illegal cannabis cultivation sites in the Anza Valley.
