Gerald "Myles" Purdue, a 63-year-old resident of San Bernardino, California, was found shot to death on March 25, 2021, on Mount Baldy Road in the San Gabriel Mountains. Purdue, an avid hiker despite his recent diagnosis of multiple sclerosis, was discovered in a culvert approximately 60 yards from where his car was parked and locked.
